Top Ten Finalists Announced!

Thanks to everyone who entered our Mafia Script Competition. We had so many quality scripts from around the world, ranging from straight up comedies to down and dirty (and deadly) dramas. As we narrowed the list down to the top ten, we not only were happy with the variety and quality of the material, but that we now have the beginning of a relationship with some very good writers.

Pavaline To Announce 'Mafia' Finalists On Friday

The analysis of all entries into our Mafia short-script competition is actively underway. Many thanks to all who submitted their best work. An announcement of the finalists is expected on Friday, March 27th 2009. Please be sure to check back with us to see if your name is on the list!

Karl Shefelman To Direct Environmental Short Script Competition Winner

Pavaline is pleased to announce that Karl Shefelman has agreed to helm the production of the winning script from our environmentally-themed short script competition. Karl is an award winning director with several shorts and numerous commercials and music videos under his belt.

In addition, he brings his vast experience as a storyboard artist on such films as "American Gangster," "The Departed," and"Silence of the Lambs," where he worked one-on-one with such directors as Ridley Scott, Martin Scorcese, and Jonathan Demme, to our production. Pavaline Celebrates Earth Day With A Themed Competition

Pavaline celebrates and honors Earth Day with our second short script competition. The theme: "The Environment." Writers, send us your most eco/green-conscious short script (5-20 pages). The deadline is Earth Day -- April 22, 2009-- which means there's still plenty of time for writing! The prize? Pavaline will produce the winning script!

Mafia Short-Script Competition Update

Pavaline's first short script competition has just closed. Thanks to all who sent in their the Mafia-themed scripts. Our development team is currently in the process of reading through the submissions.

Finalists will be announced on March 25, so be sure to check back for the latest updates.
